Precision Accounting for Modern Growth.

As a lifetime Jacksonville native and graduate of the University of North Florida, I have spent most of my career focused on small business.  I spent the last two years of college interning with a local CPA firm where I started my career there after graduating.  Over that 5 year span I  learned tax preparation, tax planning and financial statement preparation.  I then ventured into private industry for the next 27 years, most in the construction and real estate development industries.  I rose to CFO, where I spent my last 12 years in that role with two companies.  The first was a contractor referral network funded with venture capital.  This introduced me to a sophisticated corporate structure with a board of directors, multiple forms of capital and managing a year end audit performed by outside CPAs.  After that company was sold I moved back the the construction industry with a commercial general contractor.  That company operated through the Southeast and beyond and grew to 150+ employees.

Upon my retirement in 2022 I focus my efforts on my practice which I started when I earned my Florida CPA license  in 1996.  I have always enjoyed working with small businesses, helping owners decide on a business structure, teaching ways to maintain financial records to make it easier at tax times and helping with strategies to reduce taxes.
